TEAM GARCIA YOUTH BOXING

The Team Garcia youth boxing program empowers underprivileged youth from South Central to overcome their challenges and achieve their potential through the discipline, fitness, and camaraderie of boxing. We believe that sports can be a powerful tool for preventing recidivism and promoting positive change in our community.

Team Garcia youth boxing program is a nonprofit organization that was founded by Rudy Garcia, a father of six who grew up in South Los Angeles. TG Youth Boxing was founded to reach out to the local youth with self-defense techniques that strengthen the body and mind. The program aims to transform youth boxers into the future leaders of their communities and to prevent recidivism, and promote positive change through the discipline, fitness, and camaraderie of boxing. Some of the students who started as amateurs have gone on to fight at the professional level.
